Nikon 50mm f/1.8D AF Nikkor Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras I use the 1212 to save off content from my personal DirecTV HD DVR. Since you can view them online many times but can’t buy these people for future use, most of this content includes pro sports games.
Installing the bundled apps/driver was a certain amount of adventure, even for someone inside it. Whoever designed the installation package needs to discover a different line of work. Nevertheless, after a reinstall and reboot, everything finally installed. After that, it couldn’t have been better to transfer the first little bit of content from my DVR from the 1212 to my notebook computer. No hiccups at all and also intuitive – it didn’t require diving in to a 200-page manual for starters. The resultant TS data (I used a tad rate of 9Mbps) searched fantastic.
Then, following the advice beneath and from multiple Yahoo searches, I tried in vain to discover a good editor to snip away commercials. I have Ulead Video clip Studio but I understand some comments online advising against its use caused by unnecessary encoding and resultant lengthy processing times. I tried five as well as six apps, some mentioned in the reviews here.
I finally came throughout VideoReDo TV Suite 4 and it also just rocks. You open the software, click a button for you to open a TS document, then click another press button to automatically scan and mark commercials for deletion (works wonderfully). Five minutes later (on the fast system) that’s done and also you then click a finally and final button to save the video – sans the commercials – to your new TS file, MKV, MP4, or tons of various other formats. About fifteen minutes along with the three aforementioned clicks later I had a new TS file of the pro sports game in HD without having commercials. Most importantly, I didn’t have for you to manually find each commercial, mark the start and end points, then click again for you to cut it out – PER COMMERCIAL, which is what all of those other products I looked at can have you do. While it’s not affordable – $99 – for me personally it’s money WELL worth spending since i have two seasons of saved games to save. I’m not the sort of person who will spend a couple weeks trying to cobble together a solution when you can spend some money and obtain something professionally written, especially when it saves you tons of hours of editing time for many raw content to undergo.
